Last but not least, rents are 50% cheaper than in France, despite the huge number of tourists, which exceeded 38 million in 2018. In addition, it is possible for expatriates to purchase a condominium apartment freehold, or a house with a long-term lease of 30 years + 30 years renewable (leasehold). The cost remains very attractive, whether renting or buying.
