In the case of a purchase abroad, as in the case of a purchase on French soil, banks will obviously pay close attention to the income received by the borrower wishing to invest, as well as to the guarantees they can obtain in return for financing the acquisition of the property. When you buy abroad, the bank in your country of residence examines your income closely, but cannot take out a mortgage on the property you are about to buy abroad.

On the other hand, local banks in foreign countries don’t necessarily appreciate your resources, but they do benefit from a better knowledge of the local real estate market. You therefore need to gather, compare and analyze all these constraints in order to achieve your goal of obtaining financing under optimum conditions.
